Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 24, 2026
What we collect
- Account information: your email address, a hashed password (we never store your password in plain text), your display name, and your chosen @username.
- Location (coarse): your country, derived automatically from your IP address at signup. We don't track your precise location or movement over time.
- Content you post: the manifestations, text, images, and video you choose to share, plus likes, comments, and reports you submit.
- Moderation choices: who you've blocked, so we can keep their content out of your feed.
- Session data: a cookie that keeps you logged in. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To operate your account and the wall itself — showing you posts, remembering your preferences, keeping you signed in.
- To send account-related email: a welcome message when you register, and password reset links when you request them. We don't send marketing email at this time.
- To review reports and enforce our content policies.
Where your data lives
Our servers are located in the EU (Dublin, Ireland). If you're outside the EU, this means your data is processed in the EU rather than your home country. We're not aware of this creating a legal issue for most users, but a small number of countries have their own rules about moving their citizens' data across borders — if that applies to you, we're working through what that means for our service as we grow internationally.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers. It's processed by:
- Our hosting provider, to store and serve it — under a standard data processing agreement.
- A payment processor, if and when you upgrade to a paid plan — they handle your card details directly; we never see or store your full card number.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time by contacting us at privacy@manifestwall.com. We don't yet have a self-service "delete my account" button in the app — for now, deletion requests are handled manually when you email us.
Children
ManifestWall isn't directed at children, and we ask that you only use it if you meet the minimum age of digital consent in your country (16 in much of the EU, 13 in many other places — check your local rule if you're unsure). We don't currently verify age at signup beyond this policy.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to how we handle your data, we'll update this page and adjust the date at the top.

Note for the ManifestWall team: this page reflects what the product actually does today (see the project's README for the underlying data model). It hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer — worth having one look it over before this is genuinely final, especially given the EU hosting and any users in jurisdictions with their own data-localization rules. Replace the placeholder email addresses with real ones before publishing.
